I was raised in North Platte, Nebraska and graduated from North Platte High School in 1961. I joined Homestead Bank as head bookkeeper in 1966, and worked my way up the ladder to President of the Holding Co. and Chairman of the Cozad and St. Paul banks owned by the Holding Co.
My wife, Elaine, and I had two children. Blaine, our son, worked for the Cozad bank from 1987 to 1990, and now lives in Crete, Nebraska. He has blessed us with two grandchildren, Brandon and Blake. Our daughter LeAnn, passed away in 1987. I enjoy flying my airplane, going to the grandkids’ activities, and family get-togethers.
Local past and present community activities include Cozad Jaycees, Cozad Chamber Board Member, Cub Scout Pack Master, and Elks Member. I served several terms on the Cozad Airport Authority, was treasurer of my church, and many others throughout the years.
