I grew up on a farm near David City, Nebraska and graduated from David City High School. I continued my education in Omaha and worked for five years at Pathology Medical Services at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Lincoln. I married a St. Paul native, moved to St. Paul and began working for St. Paul National Bank in 1979, first as a teller and then as loan secretary. Homestead Bank purchased the bank in 1984, and I was promoted to loan officer in 1997. I handle consumer loans at the St. Paul branch, and residential real estate loans for all locations.
Growing up on a farm brings an appreciation of the outdoors. I like to kayak, canoe, hike, bike, and travel near and far. I am involved in Women in the Outdoors. I serve as the St. Paul City Treasurer and Financial Secretary for my church. I enjoy participating in plays in the Area Community Theatre, serve on its board of directors and like to attend area plays and concerts. I am secretary of the GCA (Grover Cleveland Alexander) Committee and Vice President of Chapter AP, P.E.O. I also find it fulfilling to be a mentor in the Howard County TeamMates program and interesting to work on the Howard County Election Absentee Board.
